Yesterday, after dinner, my roomie and I decided to check out the pasar, Malay for market at Broga.
Here’s what we found: Tau fu fah! For those who don’t know, it’s Mandarin(I think) for soybean curd. I usually call it ‘tau hua‘, which is Hokkien for the same thing-lah~
OMG. Was so tempted to eat the whole bucket~! The other two little buckets contain syrup to go with the tau fu fah(usually tasteless). The yellow one is a gingerly kinda syrup while the black one is ‘gula Melaka‘ which is my all time favorite!
Da verdict~ This one’s a lil’ too smooth. It’s texture is more like that of a pudding than bean curd, in my opinion. Still, it’s okie~ (,OvO,)
